DALE RUSH
ASSOCIATE

Dale is the most recent addition to G. Donald Dudley Architect. He brings a great deal of construction and design/build experience to our studio. While studying at Auburn University he was one of the early pioneers in the late Samuel Mockbee’s well-recognized Rural Studio . His thesis project team included four graduate students who designed and built the widely published Mason’s Bend Community Center in Hale County, Alabama. The building was built in a low income area with an extremely low budget. As a response to cost control, the group built the project out of found and donated objects. The roof is a combination of aluminum sheets and 1980's GMC sedan car windows salvaged from a Chicago scrap yard. Before joining G Donald Dudley Architect Dale was a member of the design team that transformed the old Albuquerque High School building into livable Loft units.
