This Surgeon and Life Skill Center is Located on Holloman Air Force Base in Alamodordo, New Mexico. It is located near the front entrance of the base, taking advantage of the opportunity to suggest flight- the prime function of Holloman. G. Donald Dudley Architect kept the basic structure which only had 90 degree corners and came up with a design that implies the structure of aircraft. The entrance to the building was moved from the side of the building to face the street, making it less awkward to enter. A shade structure was added that provides constant shade during the summer months and allows light during the winter.
